With the extended life expectancies that disabled individuals can now look forward to, planning for their futures has become a critical and immediate need. Therefore, families and loved ones of people with disabilities must plan today for needs that will arise next week, next month and in years to come.  A CLC Supplemental Needs Pooled Trust can be established to provide for participants' current and future needs without jeopardizing their eligibility for government benefits such as Medicaid and Supplemental Social Security (SSI). CLC trusts enable participants living with a disability to maintain eligibility for government benefits and still set aside monies in a trust to pay for their own supplemental needs.  Learn more about CLC Supplemental Pooled Trust eligibility and types.
