CLC Foundation, Inc.

Since its inception in 1990, the CLC Foundation, Inc. (CLCF) has provided financial assistance to adults living with persistent disabilities, as well as to the agencies dedicated to serving this group.  As an advocate on behalf of people who are disabled, the Foundation sponsors programs to enhance its clients' quality and enjoyment of life.  CLCF also provides enhanced recreation for CLC consumers and sponsors an arts program for disabled adults.

Today CLCF supports and sponsors the CLC Choral group, a choir of twenty plus disabled adults, who perform for the benefit of childrenís and veteranís hospitals, churches, schools  and many other venues throughout the  Westchester area.

CLCF also sponsors and supports Hidden Treasures, which currently operates out of the Richard Rosenthal YMCA in Chappaqua and which provides instruction in the performing and creative arts for disabled adults living in the Westchester area.

Additionally, for many of the CLC residents who cannot afford it, each year the Foundation funds sporting event or concert tickets, modest vacations and other recreational events in and around the metropolitan area.

Finally, CLCF manages a large pooled trust for approximately 300 disabled adults and children. The CLC Pooled Trust is considered among the leaders in pooled trust management for the disabled.  The Trust pays for goods and services that enhance the quality of life for disabled people without jeopardizing critically needed benefits such as SSI and Medicaid.
